Pwop Productions started out in life as a podcast production house. After several years in the business, owner Carl Franklin transformed Pwop into a full-blown audio and music production studio with a focus on getting the best sounding tracks possible.

 

Recording, Editing, and Production

Driven by his obsession for good sounding audio, Carl Franklin started Pwop Studios to support his popular podcast for software geeks, .NET Rocks! Of course, Carl is also a talented musician and audio engineer, so naturally the space would be used for recording his own music, and then collaborations with his brother, Jay. Finally, Pwop Studios opened up to the public in 2007 as a commercial studio. Carl's golden ear has helped him produce numerous albums for a variety of artists and groups.

 

Carl and his staff excel at cleaning up bad sounding audio tracks. The one piece of gear you can't buy is a good ear. Carl has the ability to listen to a track, whether its a guitar, piano, snare drum, vocal, or a voice recorded over the phone; and zone in on the problem frequencies, cutting here and boosting there until it sounds perfect.

 

Post Production
